Our cleaning procedure:

  1. cover everything under the hoods. Cover the prep area across from the hoods.

  2. clean the fan duct and hoods down to bare metal.

  3. wash greasy water from roof.

  4. inspect fan belts and note any problems on service order.

  5. polish inside and outside of the ventahood-

  6. replace filters back into hood

  7. mop and scrub floors free of our grease from hood cleaning.

  8. wipe down equipment of any grease, water or debris.

  9. place service tag with service date on exterior of ventahood.

  10. discuss any problems with manager on duty.

What we are responsible for:

  1. The exhaust fan, grease duct and ventahoods.

  2. Cleaning our grease from roof tops floors sidewalks if applicable.

  3. Returning the kitchen to the condition it was prior to arriving.

  4. Moving equipment back hooking up and relighting pilot lights.

  5. Informing management of dangerous conditions or equipment problems

What we are not responsible for:

  1. Grease (prior to hood cleaning) or trash under the grill, fryers, freezers or tables in the kitchen

  2. Leaking ductwork causing shorts in lighting  and other equipment issues not directly related to hood and duct cleaning

  3. Moving dishes or food items from under the grill prior to cleaning.

  4. Sweeping the trash up off the floor prior to service- this is a problem because the trash goes down your drain.

  1. Hinge kits are now required by the N.F.P.A 96 . These  will make our job safer.

  2. The exhaust fan weighs 50-100 lb. It is not made to be jostled around.

  3. Everytime we clean it, i cringe because i am worried it will fall off the fan curb or base onto your roof.

  4. To be effective, we must use high pressure to clean all the grease off the inside of the fan.

  5. That force will knock a fan off the base onto your roof possibly puncturing it .

  6. The wires can become damaged. I have been very careful with them, but there is a better and now required way to prevent all these issues.

  7. I don't want to be responsible for damaging your roof or your equipment when there is a better way see attached photograph

Grease Protection on the roof. The grease is getting out of hand on your roof. The grease trays never get emptied on a regular basis. This is a messy task that is forgotten easily. We offer a low cost solution to the problem. Our off roof GREASE GUTTER  is designed to use low cost padding that will keep the grease in place even when we clean the hoods. We will replace the pads every 4 months.
